We chose to pick a fine 14oz Japanese selvedge fabric that shows a red selvedge ID. The fabric is woven on an authentic shuttle loom by the legendary Kaihara in Japan.
The Locker is our interpretation of the classic chino style. With a fitted top-block, it has tapered legs for a modern approach. A piece that never goes out of style.
On the front, there’re slanted pockets and our 13 stars buttons on the fly. Next to these classic workwear and military-inspired buttons, there's also a special button added on the fly to fasten your Chino extra. This special button is made of recycled coffee in Portugal. You can find these specially made buttons on the back of the Chino too, at the pockets.
The waistband is tailor-made constructed with a heavy ecru fabric for extra strength and durability. It has a center tag Grivec Bros. label on the inside, while on the outside we added our special belt loops. On one of these belt loops, we added our GB logo as embroidery to mark our celebration.
What makes this chino style extra special is that it has our own, and thus unique, cut, and sewn top-block pattern. On the back, we added our triangle stitching, while on the left pocket there’s a flap pocket to carry your wallet for example
this Grivec Bros. Chino is wrapped in our unique mining launderette towel. The mining towel refers to the mining period where our denim legacy started. The towel is made in The Netherlands, just as the Chino itself, but outsourced to reach the highest quality.
